The Junior League of Johnson City has a long history of community service supporting women and children in our area. Some of the projects currently supported by the Junior League of Johnson City include:
Education Grant Program This grant program, initiated during the 2002-2003 League year, has proved to be a success for teachers and students throughout Johnson City. The program is available to all public and private K-12 schools in Johnson City and Washington County. Grant monies are available for special classroom projects or supplies to enhance the classroom experience in any subject area. The Junior League selects grant recipients based upon creativity, benefit to students, efficient use of funds and adaptability of the project for use by other teachers.
